    with Jill Castle, MS, RDN

    Description:

The client is our customer. Our clients want to be cared for, respected, and feel they’ve received what they came in for, whether that be a new outlook on food and nutrition, a resolved medical condition, or greater peace with food, body, or both. In this presentation, Castle will focus on optimizing the client experience through promoting trust, connection, and transformation. Topics include: coaching vs Motivational Interviewing, client autonomy and self-determination theory, communication skills and guiding the client experience, and the use of proprietary systems vs customization of care.

    Learning Objectives:

    1. Enhance the client experience through communication, connection, and care so that expectations are met or exceeded.

    2. Gauge client needs and desires, and respond with appropriate and effective counsel while considering opportunities and limitations unique to that individual.

    3. Create deeper relations and successful outcomes through counseling skills, building rapport, and guiding the client care journey.
