Elana is a nationally recognized food and nutrition communications expert and spokesperson with nearly two decades of experience working in communications. Her first job was as an on-camera spokesperson, which then led to a rewarding career in public relations, working for major agencies in Chicago, Denver and Washington, D.C. Along the way Elana earned her master’s degree and became a registered dietitian, which allowed Elana to specialize in nutrition communications. Elana is an expert in communications strategy, writing, relationship-building, and contract negotiation, specializing in the areas of food, nutrition, health and wellness. Among her accomplishments is being named one of six “Local Nutrition Bloggers to Follow” by Washingtonian magazine within six months of launching her blog. Lisa Ann Jones is a Philadelphia-based award-winning registered dietitian and nutrition communications consultant. Lisa has a master’s degree in nutrition education from Immaculata University and a bachelor of science in dietetics and food service from West Virginia University. She is a registered dietitian-nutritionist in the state of Pennsylvania and a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Lisa is also a member of many practice groups such as Dietitians in Business and Communications and Nutrition Entrepreneurs. Lisa is currently serving as the past chair for the Academy’s Consumer Protection and Licensure Subcommittee. Patti Landers is an associate dietitian and the dietetic internship director at Keith & Associates in Tulsa, OK. She comes to the consulting dietitian business after an academic career at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where she is Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Sciences. She is an avid listener to audio books and dotes on her three grandchildren, husband and dog Cissy.
Amanda is a lifestyle-focused Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who has a private practice in Long Beach, CA. In her private practice she guides and supports her clients to identify and enjoyably pursue their personal wellness vision. Moe made a splash in 2015 when he was recognized as the Texas Academy's Young Dietitian of the Year! Deanna Howard-Gonzalez MBA, RD, LD, CDE is a registered dietitian in private practice on the Emerald Coast in Florida. Deanna has been a dietitian for more than 20 years and in private practice for the last 4 years. Maria McConville is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and the founder of Balanced Body Nourishment, LLC and is often called “the Un-dietitian.” In her nutrition coaching practice, she shuns traditional weight loss diets and helps clients make peace with food.
