Many members find networking and support by joining a local NE group. Check our mini-NE area under Members Only for locations and contact names. If there is not a group in your area, why not start your own? Our administrative assistant, Joanne Gibbons, can provide you with a list of NE members in your area for you to invite. It does not have to be a big group to be successful. Some members meet at local coffee shops, or in members homes.
Check out the mini-NE area under Members' Only to see upcoming Mini-NE events in your area! If you want to post your mini-NE groups' location and contact information on the web or in Ventures, please use our contact form to contact Joanne Gibbons, or call her at 800-861-9406 or 360-956-1367.
Join in the fun and host a Mini-Meeting in your area! St. Louis stirred up some fun in July 2010: The Saint Louis area Nutrition Entrepreneurs braved the 105 degree heat index to tour the Soulard Farmers Market on July 17th. After gathering at Jean Caton's home for networking and refreshments, we grabbed the red wagon and walked to the Market. We sought out the purveyors of locally grown watermelons, peaches, goat cheese, and much more. Here are some of us leaving the market with our red wagon filled with our purchases. Thanks to Stephanie Kern, for organizing the group. We will meet again when she returns from her mission trip to Guatemala.

Recorded March 20, 2012
Join Janet Helm, MS, RD for this timely Webinar that will show dietitians how people are using Pinterest right now to share their visual content and links with its rapidly expanding, passionate user base. You’ll learn the basics of Pinterest and how it can help Nutrition Entrepreneurs achieve business success.
The hottest social platform on the Web right now is Pinterest, the two-year-old social pinboarding platform that now drives more referral traffic on the Web than Google+, YouTube and LinkedIn combined. Pinterest’s growth, particularly among women, has been phenomenal—as of February 2012 it has 10.3 million monthly active users, while just a month before it had 6.6 million monthly active users. Food, fashion and media brands, just for starters, have been happily surprised at the amount of referral traffic Pinterest is driving.
Through this 1 hour teleseminar, participants will:
- How to set up a Pinterest account and create boards
- What the value of Pinterest is to dietitians
- How to drive traffic from Pinterest back to your Web site
